EU New Nuclear Roundtable

To unite senior stakeholders from the European Commission, Members of the European Parliament, member state representatives, industry leaders, investors, utilities, SMR/AMR developers, and fuel cycle providers to:

• Shape the future of nuclear power in Europe as a clean, secure, and competitive energy source

• Support the European Green Deal, Net Zero 2050 goals, and energy resilience

• Stimulate regional economies through new supply chains, skills, and technology hubs

• Position the EU as a world-leading investment destination for advanced nuclear technologies

Objectives:

• Align European policy frameworks with next-generation nuclear deployment

• Encourage public-private investment and infrastructure co-development

• Identify priorities for new supply chain development, fuel security, and R&D

• Explore the role of nuclear in powering data centres, hydrogen, clean fuels, and industry

• Enable faster and more coherent siting, permitting, and licensing across the EU
